Session One - 10-10:45am

Grace Based Discipline - Led by our Preschool Team

What is grace based discipline? It is loving our preschoolers even when they are unlovable, understanding the feelings and motives behind their behaviors, and disciplining them so they grow up to be not just a good person, but also a follower of Christ. In this class we will discuss different topics ranging from building relationships with your preschoolers to consequences that are appropriate for their age groups.

Blessing Your Child - Brad & Liz Flurry

This breakout will help parents understand how their young child is developing their identity and ways parents can speak into and bless their child’s identity in Christ. Topics such as identifying how your child receives love, seizing God moments with your child and practical ways to bless your child will be discussed.

Your Childs Heart and Salvation: Are They Ready? - Led by our Children's Ministry Team

This class will help you more confidently lead your child to a salvation decision. We will cover topics such as:

-What does my child need to know?

-How do I know they are ready?

-How does baptism fit in these discussions?

-What do I do when they are ready?

Your Teen and Technology - Led by our KSM Team

Why is social media so important to your teen? What are they looking for in their use of technology? This breakout session will help parents understand how social media and technology interacts with their student and the impact it can have on their life. This breakout session will give us a good balance of what Jesus and technology looks like in a student’s life.

Grace: The Gift Every Marriage Needs - Doug and Wendy Valot

All marriages have conflict and how we respond often creates more conflict and stress in our marriage. Would you like to discover how to respond to conflict in ways that actually strengthen your marriage and your relationship with God? This Breakout Session will help you identify the nature of your conflicts, what keeps you from responding to conflict in healthy ways and how the power of Grace is the catalyst to freedom for yourself and your marriage.

Freedom 101: Basics of Freedom - Ryan Cook & Susan Sowell

This breakout session is for anyone who desires to learn more about the meaning of freedom, how freedom impacts our lives and how freedom impacts our families.  Discover the basic foundation of Family Freedom Ministry, including the Stronghold Cycle, Freedom Cycle and how to lead your family to freedom.

Parenting a Prodigal - Omar Garcia

In this session, Pastor Omar will share his very personal story of parenting a prodigal and the lessons he learned through that dark period of his family’s life. Although his story has a happy ending, he lived with the fear that things might not end well. He will share practical advice about how to keep the porch light on, how to discern who the real enemy is, how to become the champion your prodigal needs, and how to fight for the life of your prodigal.

Session Two - 11-11:45am

Faith Foundations - Led by our Preschool Team

Do you ever ask yourself the following questions: How should my child be praying? When should I start teaching my child about a relationship with Christ? These are normal questions every parent asks themselves. In this interactive class, we will be discussing these topics and more regarding how to lay the foundation in your preschooler’s spiritual life for a personal relationship with Jesus.

Preparing for Adolescence - Led by our Children’s Ministry Team

Are you ready to go through adolescence again?  This Milestone 3 class helps parents prepare to lead their child through the upcoming spiritual, emotional, physical and social changes that come with the teen years. We also provide guidance on how and when to have “The Talk” with your child. This class is perfect for parents of 3rd-5th graders.

Communicating with Your Teen - Led by our KSM Team

Is communicating with your teen challenging? As we all know, communication is clearly one of the most important aspects of a parent and teen’s relationship. During this breakout session we will discuss practical tips and techniques that can transform the way you communicate with your teen. We will challenge you to grow in your understanding of what they are saying beneath their words. Remember – as a parent you are one of the most important voices in your teen’s life.

Primary Faith Trainer 101 - Brad & Liz Flurry

Do you know what it means to be the Primary Faith Trainer in your home? What does it mean to Connect Church & Home life? In this breakout session we cover the basics of family discipleship such as faith talks, milestones, and God moments. This session is perfect for parents of kids all ages.

As moms, we’d like to wake up each day with the assurance that we have everything we need to accomplish whatever is on our plate.   We want to believe that somehow we’ll measure up even on those days when we feel less than our best.  Do you desire freedom from the impossible standard that you or others have set?  This breakout session will help identify ways to re-position yourself each day to receive God’s grace to thrive as a woman and a mom.
